WHEAT - Up 5-6 cents per bushel * Wheat market climbing amid strong export demand and global supplies concerns. * The most-active soft red winter wheat contract climbed above its 20-day moving average during the overnight trading session. * Russian wheat export prices rose for the seventh consecutive week last week, tracking price increases in Chicago and Paris , the IKAR agriculture consultancy said. * Canada's 2021 total wheat output is seen down 34.8% to 22.9 million tonnes, versus 35.2 million tonnes in 2020, according to Statistics Canada. * CBOT December soft red winter wheat last traded up 6-3/4 cents at $7.39-1/4 per bushel. K.C. December hard red winter wheat was last 8-1/4 cents higher at $7.32-1/4 per bushel while MGEX December spring wheat was up 7 cents at $9.24-3/4. CORN - Down 2 to 5 cents per bushel * Corn slips lower, pressured by technical resistance at its 50-day and 200-day moving averages. * Hurricane Ida has shut down all barge traffic on the lower Mississippi River, slowing corn export shipments. More than half of U.S. corn exports pass through the U.S. Gulf. * CBOT December corn last traded down 2-1/4 cents at $5.51-1/2 per bushel. SOYBEANS - Up 1 to down 18 cents per bushel * Most-active soybeans are slightly softer, pressured by beneficial rains that fell across the northern U.S. Midwest over the weekend, while the nearby September contract is sharply lower on light trade volume. * Exporters sold 256,000 tonnes of soybeans to China for the 2021/2022 marketing year, the USDA said. * Hurricane Ida has shut down all barge traffic on the lower Mississippi River, slowing soybean export shipments. Nearly two-thirds of U.S. soybean exports pass through the U.S. Gulf. * Canada's 2021 canola output is seen down 24.3% to 14.7 million tonnes versus 19.5 million tonnes in 2020, according to Statistics Canada. * November soybeans were last unchanged at $13.23-1/4 per bushel, while September soybeans were 17-1/2 cents lower at $13.41-3/4.
