IKAR in Mass MediaRussian Raw-Sugar Imports May Fall to Record, Institute Says01 февраля 2010 года 2009-07-16 By Yuriy Humber July 16 (Bloomberg) -- Russia may buy the least amount of raw sugar ever this summer because of high stockpiles and weaker demand, the Institute of Agricultural Market Studies said. Russia is unlikely to import more than 700,000 metric tons of sugar beet, compared with between 850,000 tons and 1.35 million tons in previous summers, Evgeny Ivanov, a sugar analyst at the Moscow-based institute, also known as IKAR, said in an e- mailed statement today.
