IKAR consultancy cuts Russia's 2026 grain crop, exports estimates

MOSCOW, July 24 (Reuters) - Russia's IKAR consultancy said on Friday that it sees Russia's 2026 grain crop at 139 million metric tons, including 90 million metric tons of wheat, compared to 142.5 million tons including 91.5 million metric tons of wheat in early June.

Russia's grain exports for the 2026/27 season are expected at 58.5 million metric tons with wheat exports at 44.5 million metric tons, the agency said, compared to 63.7 million tons of grain, including 47.5 million tons of wheat previously.

IKAR lowered its estimates for grain and wheat production, particularly due to difficult weather conditions in Siberia and the Urals. The situation in the south of the country remains good, it said.
