MOSCOW, Apr 5 (Reuters) – Russian wheat export prices fell last week, extending their decline to a fifth straight week on weak demand, analysts said on Monday.

Russian wheat export prices fall due to lower demand

Russian wheat with 12.5% protein loaded at Black Sea ports for supply in April was at $ 245 a tonne free on board (FOB) at the end of last week, $ 12 less than the previous week, said the agricultural consultancy IKAR.

Sovecon, another consultancy, said wheat and barley prices fell $ 5 to $ 248 a ton and $ 235 a ton, respectively.

The weather remains favorable for the 2021 wheat crop, as rains are expected in several regions this week, Sovecon said.
