Russia's 2019/20 wheat exports may be below 32 mln T -IKAR

MOSCOW, Feb 7 (Reuters) - Russian wheat exports may come in below 32 million tonnes in the 2019/20 export season, Dmitry Rylko, head of IKAR consultancy, told a conference on Friday.

IKAR had earlier forecast 2019/20 season wheat exports at 33.5 million tonnes.

But Rylko said margins in the domestic market were currently better than those on exports, so traders were offering less wheat for export.

Export prices for Russian wheat fell last week for the first time since November due to strong competition and growing fears over the spread of China's coronavirus.
