MOSCOW, Jan 21 (Reuters) - Russian grain exports amounted to 13.7 million tonnes, including 9.95 million tonnes of wheat, by the middle of January, reflecting a slowdown as Russia runs out of export supplies, the Institute for Agricultural Market Studies (IKAR) said on Monday.
"Black Sea terminals have minimal activities. Azov Sea terminals ... also are doing a rather minimal job," IKAR said in comments emailed to Reuters.
"Wheat export is highly fragmented. Black Sea market quotations are non-existent, while Azov Sea contracting is highly sporadic. Current 14.5% wheat protein price is estimated at $345 per ton, FOB Azov, but transactions are minimal."
