Russia Increased White Sugar Imports to 226,300 Tons, Ikar Says

April 5 (Bloomberg) -- White sugar imports rose 38% yr-on-yr from Aug. 1 through March, the Institute for Agricultural

Market Studies said on its website.
* Belarus raised shipments to Russia 33% to 190,700 t
* Shipments from Poland, Lithuania, some other European countries and Brazil rose 93% to 31,700 t
* Shipments from Moldova dropped 12% to 3,800 t
* Ukraine restarted shipments with 136 t in March after a 3 yr break
