The grain crop is forecast to be at least 91.5 million tons, with 22.5 million tons of exports, he said at a conference in Moscow today. Exports will be less than 17 million tons since July 1 to the end of this year, he said. The estimate for Ukraine's grain exports was lowered to 20 million tons from 26 million tons because of increased competition, Rylko said. Ukraine's feed wheat is not competitive with Australia in the Asia Pacific market, he said. Kazakhstan's grain exports are estimated at 10 million tons, Ikar estimates. Grain shipments from all three countries probably won't exceed the record that was in 2008-09, Rylko said. Source: Bloomberg | #grain | Comments: 0 Views: 47
