SovEcon said sunseed offer prices were stable last week, with supply practically absent. Domestic crude sunoil prices decreased to $2,055-2,060 per tonne, or by $65, IKAR said. SovEcon said, in the European part of Russia, crude sunoil fell by 75 roubles. Weekly sunoil exports were about 9,000 tonnes with total seasonal exports reaching about 205,000 tonnes. Palm oil imports reached a record 470,000 tonnes since the start of the season, IKAR said. The long-awaited rise in domestic white sugar prices started last week, IKAR added. By the end of the week, prices in Krasnodar had reached $650 in comparison with $630 at the end of the previous week. IKAR expects more rises in the next few days as regional stocks are very tight, seasonal demand is growing and shipments of relatively cheap raws have yet to arrive.
