IKAR in Mass MediaRussian Azov wheat prices exceed some French, U.S. export levels-IKAR14 января 2013 года MOSCOW, Jan 14 (Reuters) - Prices for Russian export wheat in the shallow-water ports of the Azov Sea have exceeded prices for some U.S. and French export wheat, the Institute for Agricultural Market Studies (IKAR) said on Monday. "Current wheat FOB Azov Sea prices are estimated at $340 per tonne," the institute's analysts said. "IKAR notices a highly unusual situation when Azov Sea FOB wheat prices are higher than FOB U.S. soft red wheat and French wheat from Rouen." Russia's grain exports for the season to date are 13.5 million tonnes, including 9.8 million tonnes of wheat. Rice and corn exports for the first six months of the market year were a record 1.81 and 1.01 million tonnes, respectively. December exports were 1.05 million tonnes.
