IKAR in Mass MediaRussia Wheat Crop Forecast Cut to Below 45 Million Tons by IKAR26 июля 2012 года July 26 (Bloomberg) -- Russian wheat crop will fall below 45 million metric tons because of a drought, according to the Moscow-based Institute for Agriculture Market Studies. The estimate was cut from 48.5 million tons forecast in June becase of drought in the Urals and Siberia, Dmitry Rylko, director of the institute, also known as IKAR, said by telephone from Moscow today. Russia's total grain crop will fall to between 77 million and 80 million tons this season, Rylko said. This compares with an estimate of 84.5 million tons on June 28.
