Russian Grain-Crop Estimate Cut 3% to 88.4 Million Tons at Ikar

June 7 (Bloomberg) -- Russia's grain crop will come to 88.4 million metric tons in the season starting July 1, the Institute for Agricultural Market Studies said, reducing its previous estimate by 3 percent. Ikar, as the institute is known, lowered its forecast for the Russian wheat crop to 51.5 million tons and its estimate for grain exports to 19.3 million tons. Director Dmitry Rylko commented by a text message from Gelendzhik today.
