Russia’s 2020-21 Sugar Exports to Drop 87% to 182k Tons: IKAR

(Bloomberg) -- That will compare with 1.38m tons during the 2019-20 season which ended in July, Evgeny Ivanov, an analyst at consultant IKAR, said by email.

* Output estimate was reduced to 5m-5.4m tons, from 5.6m-6m tons, in part due to lower-than-expected beet yields

* Figure includes production from byproducts such as syrup and molasses

* NOTE: Russia produced 7.86m tons last season
