According to IKAR, the price per ton of wheat with 12.5 percent protein content in Novorossiisk rose to the end of last week to $205 per ton FOB from $197. Farmers in the South is still slow to sell, expecting higher prices, especially given the current low yields,” SovEcon wrote. The index of white sugar IKAR for the South of Russia rose over the week to $407,73 per ton from $375,78, or to 28.90 rubles per kilogram from 26,50 roubles.
