March 22, the Eurasian Sugar Association together with the International Sugar Organization (ISO) with the participation of the Ministry of agriculture, the Ministry of economic development, the Eurasian economic Commission, the Ministry of industry, the CIS Executive Committee holds the 8th international conference "CIS Sugar Market" in Moscow, at the Radisson Slavyanskaya hotel.

As part of the tasks to increase exports of agricultural products by 2024, the volume of exports of sugar beet subcomplex can reach up to 4.5 million tons worth more than $ 1 billion.

In this regard, the conference will discuss the issues of expanding the volume of exports of Russian sugar and its sales channels, which were not previously available to Russia. In most producing countries, the sugar market is regulated by the state and, through customs and tariff measures, protects their markets from external imports.

The conference will also discuss the analysis of the problems and development of the sugar market of the CIS countries, the formation of the regional balance for 2018/19, the development of logistics infrastructure for the shipment of sugar, by-products, confectionery, as well as trends and forecasts in the world market of the current and next season.
