→ IKAR in Mass Media → #1763 IKAR in Mass MediaTook place XXIII Annual International Conference15 сентября 2017 года On September 07, 2017 under the auspices of Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation took place XXIII Annual International Conference "Black Sea Grain and Oilseeds 2017/18" in the hotel “Azimut Moscow Olympic”. The event was visited by more than 250 representatives from 16 countries including Russia, Bulgaria, USA, Italy, Mexico, UK, France, Switzerland, Turkey, Egypt, UAE, Latvia, Lithuania, Libya, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and other countries. Bank Rietumu, LLC AgroPromService, Asset management company "Investments.Finance.Capital", LLC Trading House Razdolye, LLC Inflot MA and LLC "Liliani" have become the Official Sponsors and LLC Kuban Vino has traditionally become the official wine partner of the event. In the event’s frameworks following topics were discussed: problems of legislative support and state regulation of Russian grain market, results of last season and development’s trends in the new season in the market of grain and oilseeds, quality of grain in the new season and other topics. The first session began with presentation by Andrei Klepach, Chief Economist, Deputy Chairman of the Board in Vnesheconombank, on the theme "Forecast of Russia's Economic Development for 2017-2020". Anatoly Kutsenko, Director of the Agribusiness Market Regulation Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, spoke about the problems of state regulation of the grain industry and the situation with procurement interventions. Next, Arkadiy Zlochevskiy, president of the Russian Grain Union, expressed his opinion on the situation on the market. The session ended with speeches by Armen Nalbandyan, General Director of LLC «Liliani», who spoke about the possibilities of grain logistics and storage, as well as the new speaker from Australia, David Burton, Owner of Commodity Hedging Co. The theme of his speech was "INIGO Jones - Long-term Weather Forecaster". Dmitry Rylko, General Director of IKAR, moderated the second session. The second session “Russia and the Black Sea region: mega-harvest – mega possibilities and problems” was marked with the presentation by Dan Basse, president of American analytic company “AgResource”. The report of the analyst traditionally caused a real stir. The session continued with speeches of representatives from Kazakhstan - Nurbek Dairbekov (independent consultant, Kazakhstan grain and oilseed markets ) and Ukraine - Sergey Feofilov (General Director of UkrAgroConsult). Alexander Korbut, Vice-President of the Russian Grain Union, traditionally acted as moderator of the panel discussion with the experts of the grain and oilseeds markets. At the beginning of the discussion Ilya Gerashchenko, Deputy Director of the Department for International Cooperation of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, made a presentation on the priority project "Export of agricultural products". The discussion continued with presentations of recognized experts of the Russian market. The General Director of IKAR, Dmitriy Rylko has presented his forecasts, shared his opinion and recommendations. Vladimir Petrichenko, General Director of ProZerno, presented his point of view of the development of market situation. The discussion continued with the appearance of Irina Sarycheva, Customer Care and Technical Governance Manager, Department of Agro-industrial complex, SGS Vostok limited. The final presentation was from Arkadiy Zlochevskiy, president of the Russian Grain Union. The XXIII International Conference “Black Sea Grain and Oilseeds 2017/18” ended with the 5th Grain Dinner, where splendid palette of wines and champagnes of the official wine partner “Kuban-Vino” was presented.
