Russia. Oilseed price behavior

Consolidation of prices continues in the sunflower market that was provoked by three key factors: rise of the U.S. dollar, strengthening of export and domestic market of sunflower oil and farmers' reluctant selling of sunflower stocks to plants. Processors have to increase the purchase prices or to suspend their activities in some cases. According to IKAR, EXW prices reach RUB 23000-24 000/ MT at CPT plant - RUB 24000-25000.

Domestic soybean market in Russia has remained unchanged during the week (RUB 29000 / MT CPT). As we predicted both this crop imports and exports by Russia are at a record pace, imports are carried out from South America / the USA, exports - to China.
