Russian rapeseed industry: situation and outlook (available in Russian, English version upon request)

The information contains brief estimations on the possibilities of cultivation of rape and crushing of rapeseeds by regions of the Central economic area of Russia. Main conclusions are made on the base of official statistical data of Russia represented in tables and also on the base of IKAR's estimates. The information also contains the forecast of the dynamics of rape area, yields, and production in Russia up to 2015. Moreover, we represent the brief information on the industry development in Russia in the previous years. The brief information on general rape agrotechnics and also comparative information on the main differences between the spring and winter rape types, conformably to Russian conditions of cultivation.
